Zeolite - Perlite: Blue Pacific Minerals are New Zealand's largest processor and distributor of Zeolite and Perlite Ore for domestic, commercial, agricultural and industrial applications throughout Australia, Asia and South Pacific regions. Besides processing locally sourced raw materials Blue Pacific Minerals also imports industrial minerals for local clients and offers custom processing facilities.
Blue Pacific Minerals is a privately held company located in the Waikato region of New Zealand. We have expertise in the fields of extracting, processing, & value adding to a number of mineral types.
We hold significant reserves of the Zeolite and Perlite mineral ore bodies either by access agreements or direct ownership of the associated land.
We own two processing facilities that allow us to provide customized service to our clients. This flexibility extends to a number of value-added applications where a total service is available from extracted ore, kiln drying, mechanical process & classification (from 10 mu to 30mm), surface modification, along with customized packaging from 2kg - 25kg and Bulk bags. We have an integrated quality assurance program that covers all internal processes. This program allows us to provide complete projects for clients wanting to value-add their base mineral.
Examples of these are:
- Agricultural / chemical carriers using our facility to load an active liquid onto the Zeolite
- Stockfeed as a palletizing aid as well as Aflatoxin / Mycotoxin binders
- Horticultural / Soilless caltivation, Wetters adding a non ionic surfactant chemical, or organic surfactant onto the Zeolite
- Packaging into retail packs, in supermarket sized bundles
- Water applications where an active surfactant is loaded onto the Zeolite to adsorb anions & cations from water/liquid
